Here’s an interesting interview with Fabrice Grinda on Bloomberg about “Choosing and Making an Angel Investment”

Technology is no longer the ‘secret sauce’ for startups, as it used to be. It is now just an enabler.

Another useful point worth noting is the difference between the disruptive startups such as Facebook and Google (which really are one in a million type companies with very few growing to that size), or the more ‘safe bets’ that have good business models early on.
